Valentine's Dinner

We came together as a youth, to serve the elders, to celebrate Valentine's Day, to raise funds for the building, but most importantly to give the praise to Jesus in everything that we do.

This day mst especially was a very bussy day! Considering it was both the celebration of Luke's birthday & this dinner that night, all in one day. Plus counting all the hours we spent at the building that week to set up for this event, even the night before that night, a couple of us were there until almost midnight!

But all in all, the Lord is good, and He definitely showed us His many blessings!

this night i was really mad because i just got my hair trimmed and i didn't like it one bit. It sure made my hair a loooot lighter though! Whooo. To be completely honest, it's been hard. Extrememly hard. What? i can't even explain it. All i know is that by the grace of God, my heart has been softened, slowly? Most definitely! But i know that the Lord is doing something big with my life and He wants me to put Him first. He wants me to let go of everyone, EVERYTHING! It makes things so hard when you've developed such a strong bond with something or even someone. But in the end of the day the Lord should be your joy, and through all the heartaches and pains, i'm beginning to see and feel that HIS love is more than satisfying. This may make complete nonsense, & i probably won't know what i'm talking about when i go back and read this in a couple months, but whatevs.

God knew i was desperately in need of a girls night. & out of the blue angeline texts me saying that there's a calvary chapel play coming in the week.

Off we went, to the block to eat and then to the play.

the play wasn't much of what i expected, but it wasn't bad. It was fun to get out of the house and just go off a bit farther than you planned and just be able to sit and be entertained. Most of the time cheryl and i were entertaining ourselves! Haha

By the end of the night we were all tired from food coma and the change of weather from freezing outside to fireside warm inside the chapel! hah, the play/musical got me thinking about ways to serve God with musical/instrumental talents. I've been praying about it but haven't yet gotten the 'go' from the big man upstairs. So here i stay singing up front on sundays for praise and worship with a perservering heart.

i miss my uncle james, it was like yesterday that he would try and make me go downstairs and eat. & when i questioned his authority, yhisreply would always be, "well you have to eat because you're the baby." we all miss you, uncle james! Tita deli and the boys are slowly getting back on their feet, but you'll never be forgotten. It hurts to think about christmas, the family will be incomplete without you, but none can ever replace you. Your silent sarcastic laughs will be missed<>

it was one of the hardest things of my life to sing at my uncle james' funeral. I don't know how i got through it but by the grace of God. I remember the look on my tita deli's face as i was singing, she was trying super hard to put on a smile to cover the frown from her tears, but she was wearing her sunglasses nodding at me, kuya george was looking down, and kuya david was full on smiling at me. Agorrilla means so much more, i can't even explain it!

i haven't updated in waaay too long! God is sso good! There was about a weeks period of time that God brought me to my lowest point, I was caught up with myself, the world, & everything else without Him in. Sso! He had to break things down for me to the most simplest way for my understanding. I was in the lowest of lows 'cause i wanted things, (as always) to be my way or the highway so at the point i was in, the only option i had was Jesus Chrisst<3.>

He cut offf alll the other things i turn to for satisfaction & over & over again He just shows His love for me, even through all this stubborness He loves me still. No worrying about other priorities to go after Him, but just fully making Him THEE priority & everything else falls into place.

Had a 5 hour Link thang yesterday. 5 Hours, 130 Link Leaders, 700+ Freshman, 1 School. God is goood! Praise God that i get to CHHS to finish my highschool years in ONE school! (: Hopefully i don't get cauught, haha! (; Soo went to school a little before 7am, met up with some friends & got hyph'd foor the 'rally' haha. Worrked the nametag table for the incoming freshmeeen. Amaazing seeing the face of these freshmen walk SLOWLY into the gym while we're cheering them on at the top of our lungs, and seconds later the face turns into absolute excitment! It really just reminds me of us as followers of Christ. The first time feeling like you're in a brand new place a bit overwhelming, but after you realize all the people around you are there to support you and encourage you. This day made my heart grow x 4593945! haha. Thank you Lord for getting me into Link Crew, out of the 300+ that tried out, i was one of the 130.((=

So, a 'link crew' should consist of 4 leaders & 20 freshmen. My crew is 3 Leaders,(not to mention the other two leaders are SUUUPER quiet! But i think i see God's plan for this one, (; haa Just two whole days with me they are getting out of their shell [: ) & i have about 36 Freshiees, whooo. Whattta year this will be! Haha. I thought ChinoHills was crowded last year? This year will top that to thaa maxx! ha.

Thank you Lord for an amazing changing two weeks. From the blessing of having our own church building to hold vbs in to even just being able to drive out there every single day to torrance for a week. Thank you Lord for the open soft hearts of the children that attended. We praise you Lord for the opportunity especially for two weeks! Sickness was a little hindering, but nothing that your word & love for us couldn't fix, Truly you are such a faithful God! Thank you Lord also for just the hearts you touched in chino hills to provide food for the kids some days & even in torrance for the elders that took us out after vbs so that we could skip traffic. Until next year, Vbs.

So offf i went on another one week vaycay in SanDiego, my love my love my love! (= This week was a lot more sober than the other weeeek but just as funn & a bit more silly. Haaha

The parentals dropped me off this time since the bro&sis picking me up, we needed to bring their barstools anyways, as always the twins, (my broham & i) have the munchis so my mom searches the fridge & she's like it's too early for carbs (7am) eat fruit, can i open this watermelon? My brother says yes, it being his home haa & he says mom just be careful because it's slippery she didn't give a thought to what he said and PLOP goes the watermelon, buut ryu loved it! Which was a big surprise since he hates fruit? haa

Litttle chewy<3 funny story about this dog, he was supposed to be mine because i found him outside my home here in chino but i am totally against small dogs, so i sent him on his way to his new home in sd to Vu&Terry (= Haa, totally wrong to do that right? i knoww ha but he had to collar he was malnurished & a friend in sd was already looking for a dog like this! ha But all is well since she found his owner on petquest (doesn't live too far from me) but she didn't believe her little doggy would travel to sd (she was wrong, hahaha! [:) So! this litttle crazy rebeliious dog turned out to be a verrry verrry verry people dog, when you sit on the couch he hops up and lies on his back & squirms and always give kisses booy i love this small dog! ha along with kingston, the only small dogs i approve of! haa Chewy also sleeps in my arms when i'm on the phone or talking to someone & he lays on the counter when i'm doing my make up, hehe (;
At home bbq, Coooking for the first time in my life, craazzy storry about this day! & nnno can do with a blog description, veryu dramatic daay! Haaha, but i had fun (=

Mackin' on Jesters car at like 1 in the morning after denny's, where by the way all star baseball playahs were tryna hollah & i gave them the benefit of the doubt & messed with them, maaan that night was crazy! haha

NO HARM was done in this prank, except that that morning jes had to clean it off right quick since hhe's in the military too & has to be spifffy when entering the base (= Terry & i checked the car the next day before we went nightswimming, & jester totallly just wipped it with his sleeve or something! haha Thanks to lani for the sticky mac lipgloss! (= Thanks to Jes for being calm and cheeel about it! haa ooh & TAKE THAAT la mirage! when terry & i went nightswimming one night, we told vu to take kingston & chewy for a walk to the pool & we threw the two doggies in the pool, baahha i almost pissed in the pool from laughing so hard. My ryuchi's past time! haa i took him for a lottta mile and a half runs & walks and i must admit it is a bit scary trail 'cause it's cutt off from the apartments kind of, dark at night 'cause there's no lights, but it's an amazing trail esp with my ryu 'cause it feels like i ran for like 5 minutes when i really ran for like 45 minutes, the view is amazing from there too, never got the chance to take a picture but it's impressed in my brain(= Lotsa fun feeling like i should be in a dog magazine with my dog at my side looking at the freeway on top of a hill in gym clothes, & my dog is the best 'cause when there's other dogs, he lovees to play so he getts all agressive but when someone else passes by & theyre not running & have no dog, ryu pushes me to the side & sticks by me & growls at the walker until they're completely outta sight, i love this dog! So today i went to the filipino festival in chino hills with krissa, so mucch fun! I got to learn a lot about krissa & she got a little things here and there about me, haha. Despite the crazy heat, it was so encouraging to see people in the community and outside the community just come out and support this new festival. I am beyond excited for the next ones and to see how much more bigger it gets!

These past two weeks have been verry, verry hectic! With finals to a million and one projects i'm alive, PTL! Haha, i had really just about 10 projects due the last week of schoool on top of a bunch of other stuff as "end strong, end strong" was running through my head, i'm not gonna lie, it was ridiculously hard! My head was everywhere. I had a million and one decisions to make and i usually barely make them, it was an extreme challenge for me. My seniors left, wow. First thhing that went through my head was wow, this year went by fast! Graduation was greeat i seriously got goosebumps when it started 'cause not only were my seniors, including my basketball babies and cousins graduate, but people i just met this year that eff'd up in past years so they ended up behind in most of my classes as i kicked their butt to push harder, i was so proud. I could only imagine the parents and my aunt & uncle's feelings, I realized graduation is means A LOT to our family. Eventhough summer has started, i'm already putting the "ENDSTRONG" mindset back in my head for senior year, i know that God is gonna bring me through all that Senior Year brings me. I really want to go back to Azusa, Gstone baby! But i've accepted that God has put me here in ChinoHills for a reason. Link crew '09 whoo! & MAYBE basketball again! I must admit i'm super excited for what this next school year will bring. After graduation, i had dinner with the fam & cuzgraduates at salo-salo, man i'm loud! haha It was so mmuch fun actually getting to talk to my own cousin that goes(WENT)to my own school that i never got to talk to, praying she passes her license test this week! (= I met Ethiopia at graduation, i was so nervous + i had just an hour of sleep the night before due to a ridiculous project i shoulda finished a long time before that! hha. My birthday was on Friday, not much materially but i really can't believe that i'm seventeen now. The kitchen in my house is getting done & my parents are probably freaking out at the mess, (pictures to come). LA today with my aunt, uncle & boys minus one.

The ride to LA was hilarious which was the main reason my eyelashes were ugly because i always doing my famous 'throwing the head back cara laugh' Haha. Other reason being my little yoda kept nudging me,. My two younger boys were singing almost every song that came up on the radio, take that back; i mean EVERY! i haven't been listening to the radio lately, whooo 'music' really HAS changed! maan if it's not about money, 'love', or sex then 'THASS MAH JAM!' All i could sing with the boys today was boom boom pow & poker face! haaa.

Shivers!Praise God for keeeping us safe! So much spiritual warfare around us, i was so naive thinking that things like this are in third w countries, but this is just North from us. It was one corner a korean christian church passing out bandaids as a hook to spread the gospel, the next corner a young man with a petition to overthrow proposition 8, around the next corner an amazing acapellla group of maybe 4 guys spreading the word through praise & worship songs then this mambo jambo right in the middle of the street causing so much chaos alll you could really do is stop and stare. It didn't hit us until we got on the bus some were in tears cryingothers were just so silent they had no words to say. But me, i was just kind of ifffy, like in the middle. I knew what was in front of me i knew God was showing me something but i just didn't really have an emotion to it. That night though, in the hotel was a maaajor breakdown for me! The lord just showed me that i need to be dependent on Him no one else, not my bestfriends, not even my parents! Alll my trust should be in Him alone, littttle did i realize how much i was falling into a routine type lifestyle. praise the Lord He caught me before i broke away to far, but then again i'm not surprised! We match faces! So Sunday was the day the Agorrillas and Vegas realized the adoption of the other daughter.

Waaaay too many people at Disneyland that day, not good, but nevertheless the happiest place on Earth! We went on 3 rides in about 4 hours, which by the way traditional tower of terror was an eighty minute wait, whooo!

So since the wait was ever so long i asked mommmyche to buy us beignets! We asked for six (thinking two for them and 4 for us) so we met up with ateche&kuyavlad in the car & ate our powdered faces off! Turned out we ate all six and a candy apple, yum.

& bye bye Disneyland for a goooood week and a half, Oh how i wish there was a convenient Disneyland in Washington or Canda. Hmm, not feeeling it! -__-

Anyday in San Diego are my absolute favorite! The Lord has been teaching me that everything is in his time, not mine & i need to be patient and trust Him. He cleared all my plans this weekend i wasn't bombarded with homework! He is so good! (=

I walk into kuya & oht's apartment and there sat my what used to be babbby! He's so big now!Huuuuuge right?! & Mom wasn't scared of him, AT ALL. Dad was having the most fun with him, it was hilarious! haha

I was busting up when i saw this on top of the fireplace mantle! haaaYou know how it goes, it's not very long until the Agorrillas are dying to munch on something, so off we went gallavanting in the amazing san diego.

so on Saturday my mom had a small class reunion. My mom has been cleaning the house double than she usually does, & if you know my mom, trust me, that's a ridiculous amount! got my all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday. The only pain i felt was when they were numbing it. From then on i was numb for about three hours!

picking up the vicodin & some other anti-biotic was hilarious, the obsesssive chapstick freak i am had the hardest time applying chapstick, my whole bottom lip was numb + my chin. Little miss stubborn had to ask for help! haha! =)

THIS is the chubbbiest my cheeks ever got, now i wish i kinda didn't ice it so i could look like a chipmunk for a day but oooh well!

Took vicodion once and everything feels perfectly fine. Thank you Lord for saving me from alll the pain everyone was warning me about! God is soooo gooood to me! & no school for me today, but i really reallly reallly reallly wanted to go because i hate missing schoool, and i'm more than capable of attending today but mom will not let me, it's hard not to nag her about it but i need to be obedient. Lord give me wisdom, help me to accept things the you have planned them to be, not according to my plans & to learn this lesson you are teaching me! :)

weekend words

this weekend has been ____________! (i'm trying to think of a word that describes it -__-)

so Friday was the fundraiser, which maybe like 25 people (tops) went =( we made something like $125, at least we didn't go negative! :P Ended a bit earlier than i thought, so i went to biblestudy, things really do take a toll on you if you let it. i haven't been fellowshipping as much, or pretty much, at all. Saturday was the youth bowling day, fulll of surprises, choir that night and church & disneyland with the bestfriend on Sunday.
! so, i've accepted that i'm not in the Philippines, Hawaii, New York, Paris, OR even San Diego! God has put me here, in Chino/Chino Hills to glorify Him. It is truly a struggle, but not a hassle. I overthink waay to much and i fight back when i shouldn't. This whole week i've been dreaming about going back to San Diego with my bro and sisinlaw & really just get away from all this, but it didn't happen. Nothing gets past my Savior, nothing. It's according to His will and not mine. I tried to fight that all week long until about Saturday afternoon. I was talking to one of my kuyas and he really just pointed me directly back to Christ. i was being so selfish, wanting things done my way blah blah blah. But now, it's for God not me. So Saturday night i (praise God) had a (healthy) meltdown. I really couldn't believe how far i went this time, i put up the whole Christianese front without even knowing it. I felt like a dying flower in a big field of flowers, but no. God sees each and every one of us like a bright flower in a field. My God is so amazing! After running and running and running, He is still there for me with open arms. I am not worthy of it all but you know, you, & I are here until He calls us home, what are we doing? It got me thinking! What am i doing here? Why am I being so selfish and ignorant? I was honestly disgusted of myself with just the thought of it, I need nothing more than the Savior. Sunday was a complete turnover for me. I praise God because i felt so alive and excited for Him! I was able to worship the King in such depth and i was amazed, nothing can fight his power! Praise God that kuya ray & tita nelia were able to attend sunday service also, it's been so long since we've been inviting and inviting, and once again it pointed me back to how everything is in God's time!'
Disneyland with the bestfriend, alyssssa, again! Oh how i love my disneyland pass! =) We caught up on a lot of things that have kind of been pushed to the side due to the crazy week! God is so good! i'm so thankful He has put an amazing person in my life that i trust and tell everything to. From boys to heels to our walks to mascara conversations, oh i love it! =) God is so good to me. And it's amazing that we both can put up with eachother especially when we're pmsing, which was defffffinitely Sunday at Disneyland! Oh boy thank goodnesss it was just the two of us off and away or else it wwould be a whole 'nother blog! haha. God is good, no matter what. I just really need to put Him number one in my life and strive to keep Him that way. I need to love God more than anything else, especially before myself. I need to trust Him with everything, not just the little things! i miss miss misss my brother and sister in law and baby Ryu like no other, but in God's time He will open up all of our schedules and make it happen, according to His time!

Thank you Lord for all these thoughts you have put in my head, all this time you set aside for me to meditate upon you & your would. Help me to fight, fight, and fight for you and to keep you my number one priority in my life! Thank you for the amazing church family you have blessed me with! Praise God that we, (even just a handful) were there to experience this and support. We prayed outside before for just a little bit and went to the building together to thank God for this. We were approved for this public hearing but there is still another one. It's in your hands, Lord! =)

today i finallly used my disneyland annual pass! & i rode the Nemo ride for the first time! Who can resist the churrros? (aheem; neens! haha) No beignets but i'm going again on monday so i think i can hold off until then! haha

-->in a short line. kris & neens say it looks like dreads, oh boy!

Thank you Lord for a random little fun night out, & for my Disneyland pass! =)
