sadly, this is only the first time i ever went out to eat after a concert. I always thought that i was too good to do that or something! Hah but this night was actually quite fun. With calming a brotha down in the school parking lot after he 'bummed' a beamer, to "grown up christmas list" jokes at taco bell, to hector introducing new songs to me that i completely fall in love with, God's goodness overflows! Monday nights christmas party was quite fun. Different from all the other ones and really kept us all running! haha

this night i was really mad because i just got my hair trimmed and i didn't like it one bit. It sure made my hair a loooot lighter though! Whooo. To be completely honest, it's been hard. Extrememly hard. What? i can't even explain it. All i know is that by the grace of God, my heart has been softened, slowly? Most definitely! But i know that the Lord is doing something big with my life and He wants me to put Him first. He wants me to let go of everyone, EVERYTHING! It makes things so hard when you've developed such a strong bond with something or even someone. But in the end of the day the Lord should be your joy, and through all the heartaches and pains, i'm beginning to see and feel that HIS love is more than satisfying. This may make complete nonsense, & i probably won't know what i'm talking about when i go back and read this in a couple months, but whatevs.

third time's a charm

God knew i was desperately in need of a girls night. & out of the blue angeline texts me saying that there's a calvary chapel play coming in the week.

Off we went, to the block to eat and then to the play.

the play wasn't much of what i expected, but it wasn't bad. It was fun to get out of the house and just go off a bit farther than you planned and just be able to sit and be entertained. Most of the time cheryl and i were entertaining ourselves! Haha

By the end of the night we were all tired from food coma and the change of weather from freezing outside to fireside warm inside the chapel! hah, the play/musical got me thinking about ways to serve God with musical/instrumental talents. I've been praying about it but haven't yet gotten the 'go' from the big man upstairs. So here i stay singing up front on sundays for praise and worship with a perservering heart.
Thank God for such loving sisters! (=
